Today I'm bringing you a quick download to use in your therapy room. The download includes Christmas trees that you can write targets on, cut apart and let students match together.
I used them a few ways. I made some articulation trees, some synonyms trees, some vocab trees. My preschool friends, matched capital and lower case letters. Unfortunately the only pictures I took are of the synonym trees - so you need to use your imagination a little!

As usual your idea is AWESOME! Simple and I love activities we can use for so many different goals. What program do you use to make your goodies? Thanks for linking yp this week at Thrifty Thursday...feel free to link up again later this week if you have others to share.
ReplyDeleteI see my button isn't working...I had another blogger tell me this. Boo! I hope its just a temporary glitch...
See you next week! http://www.playingwithwords365.com/category/thrifty-thursday/
I'm not sure why I couldn't get the button working!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love them to flexible because that is just what works for me with seeing 25-30 kiddos in a day in the schools. No planning time EVER!!!!
I made this is Word. Wish I had some fancy design program, but I'm making it work with what I've got!
Thanks for hosting Katie!
Your ideas are so great! I've already used several! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't get the download for the holiday tree to work. Am I the only one having this problem?
Thanks, Steph. I think something was wrong with the link in google docs. I re-uploaded it. Let me know if it still isn't working. THANKS
ReplyDeleteThank you Jenna! I started using this activity today and it was such a quick and fun activity. I used your idea of doing synonyms. I also cut out a bunch of stars and had the students think of the antonym that went with it. We then added those to the top. So fun!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Amy!

ReplyDeleteHi Jonelle! Glad you found me! Hope you can use some of the ideas and I look forward to learning from someone with so much experience. Please let me know once you get your blog up so I can add it to my list and send some folks your way. Good luck!
